How he Proposed: After a trip to Philadelphia for her birthday weekend, which Everette called “Brittani-palooza.”

Most Stupid Fight: “We got into the longest argument about me wearing a CamelBak filled with wine to a college reunion tailgate event. She was sooo embarrassed, but we survived.”

Pet Names: She is “Lil Dude,” “Kiddeaux” or “Boo Bear.” He’s “Honey Bun.”

Their song: “Someone” by Musiq Soulchild. “The song came out during a time when we were defining what we are to one another,” Everette says.
