  • Obama, Biden would definately provide more fodder for comedians. Once the liberal media wakes up from their dream, they will realize they made a grave mistake and hope Biden remains by Obama's side and takes him under his wing. The media questions Palin's experience to be Vice President while she is far more qualified than Obama is for President.

  • There will be nothing funny about Obuma. His administration will be to scary and depressing.

  • McCain/Palin (duh). But we don't need to be the planet's Rocky Horror show for another 4 years.

  • You pollsters are the slyest out there. Anyone who thinks that Palin/McCain will not be the richest cache of comedy gold is clearly a deadender. Great way to discover the Palin/McCain floor.

  • By default, it would have to be the McCain / Palin ticket. The comedians are already afraid to go near the African-American race issue with Obama.

  • Considering Tina Fey got big laughs reciting almost word-for-word an answer Scary Palin gave in her interview with Katie Couric, the answr should be obvious.

And people definitely need to stop spelling "definitely" with an "a."

  • Alas, neither will live up to W. I suspect the writer's strike was caused by an expected decrease in employment for comedy writers once he leaves office.

  • Are you kidding? Alone, McCain & Palin would be insurance for SNL's survival for the next four years. Tina Fey would have a smorgisboard of Palin antics to choose from. Letterman, Leno & O'Brien would think they had landed in joke Heaven.

  • This must be a rhetorical question. Let's think about this... Gosh darnit, I'd have to go with "Caribou Barbie," the syntactically-challenged hockey mom and her wizened counterpart. Aside from obvious fodder, blatant media bias only reinforces it -- Obama-Biden would never be subjected to the kind of mockery that McCain-Palin have received in the past month.

  • McCain-Palin of course.
"Back to the '50's with 'Mac 'n Muffy'
    That is, the 1850's!

  • McCain would provide some laughs, but Palin especially would definitely give big ratings to SNL. She's already provided more "fodder" for comedians in the last month than Obama would provide throughout his entire term.

  • Certainly McCain and Palin would be the easiest prey, and it's a good thing too. With Palin under investigation in her home state and McCain a member of the Keating Five, it's likely that under a McCain/Palin Administration the country would need some laughs to fight back the tears of another four years of republican corruption and ineptitude.

  • I don't even know if this is a legitimate question. Click this link for the fastest answer.

It's the trailer for a movie about Palin's movie, entitled "Head of Skate."

If comedians are "afraid to go near the African-American race issue with Obama" then Obama has already lost.

  • It should be the Obama-Biden ticket for all its blind hype and lack of substance but the media is so starry eyed they can't muster anything more than flirtatious chiding of their man Obama for being soooo dreamy and excessively erudite. :-p Wake up America!!!! The joke is on us that the Dems can present this man as their pick and there are enough of us to take his candidacy of slogans and platitudes seriously.

  • Is this question a joke? McCain/Palin...well more just Palin...could fill an entire episode of the Daily Show or the Colbert Report easily! The accent, the hair, and the ANSWERS allow any comedian the chance at some comedic glory.

    By LC , Posted October 6, 2008 10:45 AM
  • They're all ripe for satire, but comedians are too scared to spoof Obama because it would be "controversial", and they make their money from younger audiences who don't want to hear anything that mocks Obama.

  • McAncient/Maverick Girl, of course...there is nothing to ridicule about the Messiah and his Ambassador to the Bitter People...

    By Black , Posted October 6, 2008 11:14 AM
  • Since the comedians are already going full tilt on McCain/Palin their only problem would be getting stale. They are so hands off Obama/Biden...either because of the dream state they are in and/or because they can't figure out how to mock a black Presidential candidate with the venom they use on the white ones. Funny how they don't fear offending seniors with their endless McCain age jokes but are paralyzed into silence when the subject is Obama. Off camera they must be afraid of 4 years of doing only Biden jokes...though, in truth, he will be an endless source of material.

  • The liberal comedian elite should aim their acid tongues at the bleeding heart Democrats, and leave poor Sara Palin alone.

    By Anonymous , Posted October 6, 2008 11:19 AM
  • If Obama/Biden wins, SNL will be discontinued in favor of 24 hour videographies of Mao and the Weather Underground Channel.

  • It will be interesting to see how comedians treat Obama. Will his race make him untouchable? I doubt showing up to a roast in blackface will pass the political correctness test during an Obama presidency.

Clearly Palin's sex hasn't kept the comedians from skewering her.

  • All politics aside of who Ii would want to win...

McCain/Palin is wayyy more parody-ready than a Obama/Biden ticket. The media is too afraid to touch the race issue with Obama.

Too bad with that though, since an Obama parody would be comedic gold. With all the awkward pauses he does when he speaks, and his rambling on incessantly. Comedy Gold!

But for now I will giggle at the endless Palin parodies. Seriously, shes so easy to copy its uncanny.
