People: It's the Dog Days of Summer

A British man protested the royal family's mistreatment of animals by cooking up a member of Queen Elizabeth II's favorite dog breed (a Corgie) into meatballs and eating them as the event was documented by a radio show. Guess who was there to take a bite? The next guest, Yoko Ono. We're glad John Lennon wasn't around to witness it. And to make this report even weirder, we couldn't help noticing that on the CBS news page about this, there's a link for this. Gulp. [AP via CBS News]
